On a personal note:
Upon our first visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, on a spectacular day with the sun shining through the trees and the Little River waters glistening, we were directed to Meigs Falls by a local resident. The combination of the sounds of the water cascading over the falls, the birds singing and the views of the Smokies created a memorable day to not be forgotten!
